Sandy Feet Hawaii offers island-inspired, handmade clutches and accessories for life on the go.

The business started in the living room of owner Elene Nakama’s tiny one bedroom apartment. In 2014, she took up sewing on her grandmother’s hand-me-down sewing machine, making clutches for her friends for Christmas. With a background in design and advertising, and plenty of encouragement from her friends and family, Elene decided to brand her products and open an Etsy shop, not knowing where it would take her. With the help of social media, Sandy Feet Hawaii grew immensely, and can now be found at close to 20 retail locations in Hawaii and online.
