Philip Sabado, the youngest of 12 children, was born and raised in Mauna Loa on the far West side of Molokai. His youth was spent fishing, hunting and pursuing his love for the arts. After an illustrious career as a Senior Art Director in CA, he returned to the islands in 1984 to pursue his passion for fine art. Phil creates art that is historically accurate, depicting the essence of Hawaiian culture in oil painting. He has been commissioned to do many public and private murals.

On any given day, you can find Philip at his art studio in Wailuku, where you can meet and talk story with the artist, and experience some of his amazing artwork firsthand.
