Rainbow Drive-In was started by Seiju and Ayako Ifuku in 1961. Seiju learned to cook while serving in the famous 100th Battalion during World War II, and returned to Hawaii with dreams of creating a brick and mortar plate lunch business that served up delicious local comfort foods.

The Rainbow Drive-In tradition lives on today at its three locations across Oahu, where they serve generous portions of hearty, simple foods at an affordable price.
