Maui Brewing Company is Hawaii's largest independent craft brewery. Co-owners Garrett Marrero and Melanie Oxley started the Maui-based business in 2005, after they noticed a lack of locally produced craft beer in Hawaii.

There are 700+ people employed throughout its four locations on Maui and Oahu - everyone from accountants, brewers and a sales & marketing team to event manangers, tour guides and restaurant staff. Equally impressive, Maui Brewing Co operates a grid-independent brewery, utilizing renewable energy sources including solar PV, biodiesel generators, solar thermal system and CO2 Recapture and Recovery for sustainability.
