Ben Franklin Crafts is locally owned and operated for over 70 years in Hawaii.

They originally started as a five and dime in Kahului Shopping Center called “K. Kamitaki Store”, known for custom sewn aloha shirts and other various merchandise.  In 1951, as big box retailers threatened to take over the market, they opened their first Ben Franklin Store. Currently, there are 6 HouseMart Ben Franklin Craft locations & 3 hybrid stores in Hawaii, employing hundreds of people that support all areas of the business.
